Set in the stunning 260 hectare Albany Heritage Park, the National Anzac Centre is an important part of Australia's cultural tribute to the men and women who served in the First World War.The National Anzac Centre is specifically designed to be a self-guided experience, so following entry, your guests are free to explore the exhibits as
they please. Visitors to the National Anzac Centre will be given a “Character Card”, allowing them to follow the journey of one of 32 different people featured in the National Anzac Centre. They will also be issued with an audio pod to listen to audio narratives on the displays within the Centre. There are a number of
different technologies within the Centre designed to engage and allow the visitor to interact with the displays.
As a guide in planning your visit, we find visitors to the National Anzac Centre spend one to two hours within the building, and those choosing to visit the Princess Royal Fortress outdoor military displays are spending an additional one to one-and-a-half hours visiting the historic buildings and grounds.
